Depression Does Not Win.
1 Peter 5:7 “ Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” Hey Blessed Doves, I hope your day is as good as mine. In my previous post, I touched on my trials with depression but I did not get a chance to tell you how much it affected me and how God brought me out of it. To me, depression is like a cold you gain depression but you can also get rid of it with the right medicine, and that medicine is JESUS and his WORD. I remember when I was just mentally exhausted, Heartbroken, Fighting all types of stuff. What I realized was that all those things had a toll on me I was mad, I was sad, all these thoughts that weren’t of God just building up inside me not knowing that it was slowly changing me as a person. I told God I’m willing to come back home if you guide me there. I told God I’m tired of being in such a sad dark place it’s time for me to arise back up and get back to myself.
